Duloxetine or Cymbalta is treated for major depressive disorder,
generalized anxiety disorder, pain related to diabetic neuropathy
and for stress urinary incontinence. Initially Duloxetine is
provided at small doses of about 20mg to prevent distress in
patients. The drug helps in reducing the heartbeat bring it to
normalcy. It prevents the sudden rush of blood through the vein to
brain. The usual recommended quota is once in a day for patients.
The drug is a strong antagonist which usually requires large volume
of fluid to be taken for neutralizing the effect.
Duloxetine is a combination of Methyl-3-propan-1-amine which has a
half-life period of 12 hours. Researches and tests that have been
conducted show that Duloxetine or Cymbalta should be used with due
care in some conditions to avoid unwanted troubles. When Duloxetine
are taken by people with age above 75 years should be strictly taken
under the supervision of the doctor, else it may lead to body
failure. This drug is a very bad combination with people suffering
from severe or even moderate heart problems.
